My wife and I loved Curitiba. The only bad thing about our trip there was that we only had five days to see as much as we could and next year we will stay there for a couple of weeks to see a lot more of the city. I read that it was voted one of the top five places in the world for quality of life, we loved it so much that we are thinking of moving there at the end of next year. The public transport system is probably the best I've seen, the city spends a lot of time and money keeping the city clean too, lots of tourist attractions like parks, woods, a lot of nightlife too. In my city it would be impossible to walk around late at night but there we felt very safe. The people were very friendly too and eager to help us out when they realized that we weren't from the city. Restaurants were generally cheap with good food, lots of pedestrian only streets as well. If you get the chance to go visit it, I don't think you'll be disappointed :-D Hi Ian!
